SMACKED YOUTH
Smacked Youth is a three piece alternative punk outfit from Newcastle NSW consisting of Sam D’Agostino (Guitar/Vocals), Jake Ellis (Drums/Percussion) and Sean Doyle (Bass/Vocals).
2023 saw the band embark on their biggest year yet with their first overseas tour which featured shows in London, Amsterdam and Berlin. As well as finishing off the year with a monster national tour opening for Australian rock royalty The Screaming Jets, which spanned from the start of November 2023 to the end of March 2024.
Their long awaited single "RUT" was released on the 27th of September 2024, which featured a premiere on national commercial radio Triple M nights with Dave Gleeson. Following the release, the band has managed to land an epic support slot opening for Australian indie legends British India, as well as launching into 2025 opening for Dune Rats and the legendary Rose Tattoo.
