Dashville is an exceptional regional live music facility. A pristine bushland festival and concert venue with it’s own campground located 40mins west of Newcastle, NSW. Well known for its exceptional music community, built around long running boutique grassroots festivals, The Gum Ball, Dashville Skyline, Thrashville, which are held each year for up to 3000 people.
After a sold out Xavier Rudd show in March 2025, the first of it’s kind, the venue has solidified it’s concert model and is now looking to host one annual exclusive capacity concert with a top billing act, to continue to grow it’s audience and assist with the ongoing grassroots operations of the venue.
CONCERT VENUE OVERVIEW
EVENT: Exclusive Concert aka ‘Dashville Nights’ now booking for 2025/26.
DATE WINDOWS: September through to June is peak time to host a concert at Dashville. We have festivals in early October (Dashville Skyline) and late April (The Gum Ball), and late June (Thrashville) so ideally a few weeks before or after those is a good idea.
LOCATION: ‘Dashville’, is a destination venue, located at 103 Kirkton Rd,Lower Belford, Hunter Valley NSW. This venue would form the Newcastle option for any touring.
TIME OF PERFORMANCE/S: Generally held on a Saturday, between 2 - 11pm. Midnight noise curfew.
STAGING OPTIONS: For ticketed events up to 800 people, we use existing permanent outdoor stage infrastructure and in-house production. ‘The Middle Stage’ which is accessible and fed by 3 phase diesel generator. See pics of this stage option below.
For ticketed events beyond 800, we open up remaining arena and the venue provides temporary infrastructure solution, to suit production requirements. See pics of the various staging options below.
TICKET PRICE: to be determined by agent. Suggested price range for adult is $80-120. Main ticket option must include camping fee ($30 adult/$15 youth) presented on top of ticket. Other ticket options include combined event + bus ticket, breakfast, hospitality packages, tent hire, powered sites, etc
STANDARD ARTIST DEAL:
The concert model is built on a standard ticket split. No guarantees are provided.
Tickets sold from 1 - 899 - Artist to receive 75% of all show tickets, not including any camping fees or any other optional ticket types.
Tickets sold from 900 - 1999 - Artist to receive 80% of all show tickets, not including any camping fee or any other optional ticket types.
Tickets sold from 2000 - 2800 - Artist to receive 95% of all show tickets, not including any camping fee or any other optional ticket types.
PARTICULARS
VENUE
• Will provide venue facility including stage infrastructure (see staging options available), all parking requirements, public and private camping, ushers, covered spaces, sanitary facilities, hospitality services for up to 3000 people, including back of house facility for all artists, staging and production crew.
• Venue to provide requested artist hospitality rider.
• Venue will supply all power requirements and is willing to consider green power options.
• Venue has multiple staging options.
• Venue has various in-house PA equipment, and a D&B system, suitable for up to 800 persons. All PA equipment can be utilised to support larger PA system requirements.
• Venue has a range of backline guitar/bass amps, drumkits and antique equipment available for hire.
• Venue operates online ticketing (Humanitix) and gate accreditation staff, including security and event management. Additional third part ticketing allocations can be negotiated
• Venue contributes direct promotion to the Dashville festival community, a captive live music audience.
• Venue can provide ancillary event activity to compliment event and support sales for the show. Example, can include a Sunday morning Yoga retreat or gardening workshop.
ARTISTS
• To cover all additional audio production, lighting and performance staffing requirements, including travel and lodgings beyond onsite camping.
• Artist to afford all support acts, and must include at least one local act.
• Artist to afford promotion of the show.
EVENT CAPACITY: Arena capacity is set at 3200. Campground capacity is dependant on a range of caravan/camper/motorhome/tent configurations and is managed ongoing until deemed sold out. Day parking is approximately 600 cars. Bus set down and parking area. The venue has conditional approval for capacity increase to 4000 for certain events.
PRODUCTION: Dashville can provide staging options, both permanent and temporary. Artist to provide production suitable to requirements, and welcome to utilise Dashville Production to assist as required.
RIDERS: Food and drink rider provided by venue as requested. Dinner will be supplied backstage for production crew on night of performance.
ACCOMMODATION: Dashville provides exclusive artist-only camping space and can assist with supply of any tents or camping equipment. Beyond this it is the artists responsibility to arrange other desired accommodation.
TRAVEL/TRANSFERS: Artist is to provide their own travel to/from the venue.
EXCLUSIVITY: At agents discretion.
GUEST PASSES: One guest pass per band member is standard.
MERCHANDISE: Dashville provides a central space for artist to sell merch free of charge, or can manage all stock and sales on behalf of the artist for 15% commission.
CANCELLATION: If any worldly impact, such as pandemic, bushfire, political or extreme wet weather is imposing undue risk on hosting public gatherings, the promoter and artist can on agreeance, forfeit or postpone this agreement at any point deemed feasible. (whichever is more viable based on consultation between both parties combined circumstance.) Any monies paid to artist or promoter are to be refunded if a cancellation is to occur.
STAGE OPTIONS
Dashville can accommodate show capacity anywhere between 200 and 3000 people. The beauty with this live music venue, is that you can put the event on sale and as it gets closer, you can adjust/pivot the stage set up according to the ticket sales.
