MOUNTAIN WIZARD DEATH CULT
Mountain Wizard Death Cult, aka MWDC (aka The Wizzies) - forge into the latter half of 2025 after a year of renewal and a period of creation to redefine their genre defying Sludge & Post-Metal sonics with a fresh energy of controlled chaos and atmospheric heaviness.
With their foundations solidified in the underground heavy community, 2024 saw the band take on a new form with vocalist Elliott Smith (Wicked Sisters, Foothills) injecting power and urgency into their sound as MWDC introduced this iteration to the masses with select shows across the country. With a new chapter, comes new offerings, with new music, tours and manifestations on the horizon
Shows of note in recent memory include supports for international heavyweights such as Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Conjurer & Cancer Bats. As well as standout appearances at Festivals such as Spliffs N Riffs, Sunburn and Necrosonic.
Delving deeper into their identity and uniqueness in the heavy music landscape, Mountain Wizard Death Cult are honoured to be returning to Thrashville!
