Immortal Within, an explosive heavy metal instrumental duo from the Blue Mountains, NSW, is rapidly making waves. The powerhouse pair—guitarist Lyric Silk and drummer Lenny van Gennip—bring a level of musicianship and stage presence that belies their young age of just 16 years young.
Their electrifying debut at Sydney’s iconic Metro Theatre in November 2023, where they opened for renowned Australian act Sunk Loto, announced their arrival on the live music scene in spectacular fashion. Since then, Immortal Within has become a force to be reckoned with, igniting youth-focused gigs across the region with their raw energy, technical prowess, and ferocious sound.
With Mirage, Immortal Within take inspiration from bands like The Dillinger Escape Plan, Loathe, and Counterparts, blending intricate guitar work with unrelenting heaviness. The track was recorded at Sky Valley Studios in the Blue Mountains and co-produced by local legend Dan from Red Bee, with mixing and mastering duties captained by Chris Blancato—known for his work with Northlane and Reliqa.
