Epyphany are a heavy force rising fast out of Coffs Harbour, delivering high-impact, high-energy death metal with a fresh edge. The band features Henry on drums, Cooper on bass, Noah on rhythm guitar, Khaleb taking the lead, and their newest addition, vocalist Declan.
Still new to the scene but already turning heads, Epyphany have made a serious impression with their explosive live shows. Their recent win of the crowd vote at the Thrashville Battle of the Bands at Open Studio proved exactly that, following a previous standout performance at the same venue.
Drawing influence from death metal icons like Death and Dying Fetus, Epyphany are building an impressive catalogue of original tracks—dark, fast, and uncompromising—while also throwing in a few classic covers for good measure. With undeniable momentum and a tight, aggressive sound, Epyphany are carving out their place in the local heavy scene and showing no signs of slowing down.
