DANA GEHRMAN
Brisbane based guitar-slinger, singer and award winning songwriter, Dana Gehrman delivers a vintage sound that evokes rich nostalgia. Taking influence from the halcyon days of 70’s ‘west coast’ music, Gehrman rewinds to a time of genre-bending experimentalism with her songwriting, blending soul, roots-rock and blues, all with unfaltering vocals. Following on from the success of her debut album, ‘Find A Way’, 2023 saw four star applause (Rhythms Magazine) for Gehrman’s 2nd studio album, ‘Down In Hollywood’. As the current 2025 Carol Lloyd Award winner, Gehrman is working on new material set for release in 2026. Gehrman has spent time on the road with Tim Rogers (You Am I), Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything) and Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) and opened for acts such as Charlie Musselwhite (USA), Mike Stern (USA), Walter Trout (USA), The Teskey Brothers, Russell Morris, Eric Gales (USA), Charlie Owen, Wagons, Frazey Ford (CAN), Mia Dyson and more.
