Please read through the list below before contacting us.

  • Please be respectful of our number one rule - NO GLASS.

DO NOT BRING ANY GLASS ONTO THE PROPERTY.
The venue is a bushland setting and glass doesn’t break down. This is a safety precaution that we take very seriously. It’s put in place to protect everyone that visits Dashville.

Any glass found will be confiscated. End of story.

    We appreciate your assistance.

  • Strictly NO PETS are allowed at The Gum Ball.

  • We have a large block of private shower cubicles and flushing toilets to cater to the needs of all campers and there are always a sufficient number of portaloos within the arena and campgrounds.

  • Yes, we frequently have wheelchair-bound music lovers at our events. The arena gently undulates and is easy to navigate.

We have paths throughout the arena and a dedicated viewing platform in place.

  • Phone reception for texting and calls is fine at Dashville. But, in regards to the internet on your phone, reception can be a little fussy. However, based on feedback from punters at previous events, internet reception is often available at Dashville.

  • Please visit the CONTACT PAGE to reach out to us.

*PLEASE NOTE: Performer , markAt stall, apd volunteer applications for the Gum Ball 2024 have now closed.

  • The full line up has been announced, please head over to WHO’S PLAYING? page for all the info.
Playing days and times are available on the TICKETS page.

  • Campground gates open at midday on Friday 26th April.

For those of you who can’t wait, you can purchase a Thursday Night camping ticket and arrive to set your camp up from 2pm on Thursday 25th April.

*You must have a full festival ticket to purchase the Thursday night add on.

  • The festival will run over three nights - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There is no additional Sunday Wind Down ticket this year, as Sunday is included in the full weekend ticket.

You can purchase a Thursday night camping ticket if you would like to arrive one night earlier.

*You must have a full festival ticket to purchase the Thursday night add on.

  • No - It is important to note that each ticket type is different.

Full Weekend Ticket - This gives you three days of the festival and three nights of camping, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Early Entry Thursday Night Ticket - This gives you early entry to the special Thursday night pre-event concert and camping.

  • A flexi ticket is for anyone who wishes to enjoy the festival for one day or two days.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the site, we can’t offer single day tickets, so the Flexi Ticket is our way of making it possible for those that can’t come for the whole weekend, to attend in a capacity that suits the individual.

This ticket - which initially costs slightly more than a full weekend ticket - allows the purchaser to arrive/check in on the Friday or Saturday of the festival and then once checked out, receive a refund on the portion of the ticket not utilised. Once the ticket has been checked out, it can not be checked back in.

This ticket includes the option to camp each night and depart the venue the next day. Depending on the time you depart will impact the refund amount you receive and you will be charged accordingly.

Refunds will be made electronically within 3 days of you checking out at the exit. Ideally you’ll be reimbursed on exit, though being a busy festival, this facility is dependant on time of your departure, internet and staff availability.

Alternatively instead of a Flexi ticket, you also have the option to purchase either a Saturday/Sunday ticket or a Sunday Only ticket.

The festival hosts a range of exciting workshops, performances and play facilities catering for kids over the weekend.

    PLEASE NOTE
    CRECHE CHILD MINDING SERVICE -
unfortunately due to viability, we are unable to offer the creche service this year, but there will be a program for kids entertainment and activities. We apologise for any inconvenience.

A detailed program will be available closer to the festival date.

We pride the festival on being very family orientated, but please note, due to licensing laws, under 18’s still need to be supervised at all times.

  • The Gum Ball embraces as much art and extracurricular activities as possible. All our workshops and activites can be seen on our FESTIVAL INFO page.

  • Ruby’s Pizzeria will be open and serving up everything from coffee to pizzas but we will also have a wide selection of food trucks and stalls serving up delicious treats all weekend. From Vegan to hardcore carnivorous food, from breakfast right through to dinner and all things snacky and sweet in between, we got you covered.

Check out all the culinary delights on offer on our FESTIVAL INFO page.

  • The Gum Ball is a licensed festival. Though despite the fact we have a super awesome bar full of great booze and lots of tasty food stalls, at this festival you can bring your own food and drinks.

Truth be told its becoming difficult to continue, mainly due to the amount of excessive waste it produces. So please take note of our policies.

Please know and respect our biggest rule, GLASS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Please do not bring any form of glass into the festival. Basically this is the bush and broken glass does not breakdown, your one slip up can cause long term grief for not only children and animals, but perhaps even your own face.

  • 1 x carton of canned beer OR 1 x decantered bottle of spirits/wine in a plastic bottle allowed into the campground per person. GLASS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.

6 x drinks allowed into the arena per person at a time.

  • No, we don’t sell ice at the festival. The nearest town is Branxton, approx 10 min drive. Best to stock up before arriving.

  • Yes.There will be water fountains positioned in key locations and with so many festival goers over the weekend, it would be best if you brought your own water as we operate on tank water.

We do not sell plastic bottled water at the festival. Please bring a refillable drinking bottle and refill as required.

Caravan and campers, please bring your own water, we do not have the means to provide you filling your tanks.

  • All vehicles will be searched by our security staff on the way through Dashville’s main gate.

*Please keep in mind our number one rule: NO GLASS.
Any glass found will be confiscated.

  • *ALL FESTIVAL TICKETS COME WITH OPTIONAL CAMPING*
It is your choice whether to camp or not.
It doesn’t cost extra to camp nor is there a discount if you choose not to camp.

The campground is located directly outside and around the arena, so it’s a simple case of walking from your campsite through the gate and into the arena. At worst case, this could be up to 200m if you're camped at the extremity of the campground.

CAMPING - You are allowed to bring whatever camp set up that suits your group or person, including large bell tents, though we ask that you consider not taking up too much space if it is not necessary.

VANS OVER 20ft - need to be registered to ensure suitable space is available. If you have a large van, and would like to camp with non-large-van-pals, we'll do our best to keep you together but can't guarantee this.
    To register, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

GLAMPING - We also offer boutique style accomodation as an optional extra, provided by the good people at Belle Glamping.
CLICK HERE for bookings and further info.

  • The campground is expansive but is at the mercy of the natural vegetation and at the last couple of festivals, there were some issues with caravans acquiring excessive space (which in turn eats into the space of those with a more humble set up).

You can still bring your caravan/camper but if it is over 20ft you will need to purchase a pass for it beforehand. *These are limited in number to allow us to control the amount of caravans onto the site and better facilitate space requirements for all.

Caravans are restricted to certain areas of the campground. For this reason, please ensure you follow directions provided on arrival.

  • No. However, if you have a medical condition that requires powered equipment, please email us on mail@dashville.com.au and we will do our very best to have you connected to power.

  • You are allowed to bring gas bottles, but only if they are in service date (keeping in mind we have amazing food stalls including coffee, so you probably don't really need one). We will have to confiscate gas bottles at the gate that are not within their service date.

  • If you want to camp with mates, we recommend arriving together or as closely together as possible. Reserving space can get tricky, as we have a lot of campers to fit in. It's definitely best to arrive when gates open to get the best spot.

  • Yes, most people park alongside their tent if there is room. But it's best to get to Dashville when gates open.

  • No personal fires in the campground. Do not bring firewood. We are bound by State fire restrictions, and the campground and surrounding areas are very much dense bushland. We generally have communal fires inside the arena, which you are welcome to sit around until 3am... if that helps.

  • As The Gum Ball is a celebration of music and culture, campers will inevitably throw on some tunes in their respective camp areas. We simply ask that you be respectful and kill the volume at a reasonable hour.

At midnight, when the festival’s live music finishes, there should not be any music played in the campground.

For those that like to party late, head on over to the Silent Disco from 12am

  • Small generators are permitted but please be respectful of your fellow patrons in regards to noise. Switch off the genny when others are trying to sleep.

  • Yes, deckchairs and picnic blankets are allowed and encouraged.

  • Please understand, we have weathered the storm and no longer accept credit from the 2020/21 covid era.

If you have not used your credit by the expiry date, it is no longer valid.

  • Make your ticket selection carefully as there are NO REFUNDS.
