Don't Thank Me, Spank Me! is a two piece girl odyssey made up of best friends Nitida Atkinson (vocals and guitar) and Esther Henderson (vocals and bass). The duo is influenced by rock-n-roll girl bands from the late 70s, naughties rnb, Elton John and ROMANCE. DTMSMs live show is a genius combination of sublime songwriting, very good hair,matching fender axes and disarmingly charming banter. DTMSM have supported iconic Melbourne bands such as Jazz Party, and Tek Tek Ensemble but are swiftly gathering their own fanatics after the release of their shit-hot debut single, Habitual. Their debut album is destined for release by summer, and is bound to bang hard with the likes of hudson Whitlock (Surprise Chef, Brenda), Henry Jenkins (Karate Boogaloo, Cactus Chanel) and Myka Wllace (Thundamentals, Mo'Ju, Morton) onboard.
